Electronic Access control

Electronic access control is a system of software and hardware components that allows you to control who has access to where and when in your building or premises. The person is usually identified using modern RFID transponders or badges, but can also be identified by checking biometric features or mental characteristics such as a special code or PIN. It is also possible to combine these technologies with each other or with location technology as an additional factor for access control.

What is electronic access control?

"Electronic access control“ refers to the IT-supported management of access rights to buildings, premises and areas.

The user specifies in their access control system which person (who) is granted access at which access point (where) and at what times (when).

OSS standard offline

Electronic offline locks are not connected to an access control system via a cable, but function autonomously and are powered by a battery.

Thanks to the OSS Standard Offline, locks of different brands can read the same authorizations from the card and interpret them in the same way.
